Senior Social Workertoadd to our integrated Adult Social Care service.
You willbe part ofageneric Adult Social Care team,maintaininga strong focus on quality, outcomes and strengths‑based practice while working at pace.
Working alongside amultidisciplinary team of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Strengths‑Based Practitioners, you will work closely with health colleagues, commissionedprovidersand internal partners to ensure coordinated,safeand effective support for residents and those supported by the City.
Key responsibilities include:- Delivering relationship-basedcore social work or occupational therapypracticewhichisinformed by statutory legislation and guidance, best evidence, and research.
- Assessing complex need,planning and working purposefully with service users,support networks and other professionals to manage risk, safeguard vulnerablepeopleand promote positive outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with commissioning and health partners.
- Championing anti‑racist, anti‑oppressive and inclusive practice.
Reporting to the respective lead officer, you will play an active role in developing Adult Social Care across the Square Mile.
About YouYou will be aqualified and registered Social Worker with experience in assessment, court work,and working with a range of service users in the community.
You will have experience in supporting and managing student social workers, andmentoringlessexperienced practitioners.
You will be a confident practitionerwhocanbuild effective and meaningful relationships with service users and other professionals,act as anadvocateand promote positive outcomes whilst working at pace and support the review and development of practice within the Square Mile.
- Strong assessment and advocacy skills,
- Sound knowledge of adult social care legislation and statutory duties
