Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting the social, emotional, and academic growth of students as a valued school psychologist in a collaborative educational environment. Serve K-12 students across four buildings, fostering positive change district-wide through high-quality psychological services and guidance.

This contract opportunity spans from late August through mid-June, aligning with the academic calendar and offering the chance to work closely with staff and families throughout the school year. You'll engage across various age groups, providing a diverse and rewarding professional experience.

• Current School Psychologist certification valid in Vermont
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and counseling practices in academic settings
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments for students, including evaluations for academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
• Provide counseling services, crisis intervention, and consultation as needed
• Assist in the development of programs to improve student outcomes and school climate
• Support data-driven decision-making to promote student success

This is a full-time contract position (35–37.5 hours per week) running from August 2026 to June 2027. Enhance your experience with exposure to all grade levels across multiple school environments.
