The project focuses on enhancing the client’s enterprise SaaS platform by building out new microservices and integrating advanced technologies to support platform growth. Multiple cross-functional development teams are being established to contribute to various components of the system. The role offers an opportunity to work on high-impact backend systems with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and modern architecture.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level SaaS applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with the architecture team to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements
• Break down ideas and user stories with product managers
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks to enhance the tech stack
• Ensure application responsiveness, scalability, and maintainability
• Work with Sustaining Engineering to diagnose and resolve production issues
• Advocate for and help implement CI/CD best practices
• Participate in retrospectives to drive team performance and continuous improvement

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and DBMS (especially MySQL)
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems
• Experience with authentication frameworks such as OAuth or OpenID
• Knowledge of software design patterns, multithreading, and enterprise architecture

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
