QUALIFICATIONS:

• Springfield School District seeks individuals who are committed to the mission and vision of the school.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Relentless commitment to raising the academic achievement of all student-athletes.
• Organize and attend all practices and contests.
• Work directly with the Varsity Head Coach.
• Ability to motivate students.
• Ability to individualize instructions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of rules and strategies.
• Experience as a coach preferred.
• Experience as a player preferred.
• Enthusiasm for the sport.
• Coaching certifications preferred (NFHS).
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, administrators, and public.
• Maintain a high level of ethical behavior.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including afternoon/evening/weekends.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the athletic director that is sport or coaching-related.
