Shuttle Driver

Position Details: Sunday-Thursday nights; overnight work; may include occasional work in the yard. Start pay $32 per hour.

As a Shuttle Driver, you will transport empty trailers to the Operating Company warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations.

• Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and company standards.
• Report safety issues and required repairs.
• Follow all DOT regulations and safe driving guidelines, and report hazards promptly.
• Inspect trailer for proper loading and securing of freight.
• Ensure route paperwork is with the tractor‑trailer load.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to the predetermined schedule.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines.
• Parks and stores tractor trailers in designated areas.
• Lock and secure equipment and freight.
• Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns in empty trailer and complete necessary paperwork.
• Unload equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required.
• Record hours of service daily per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years.
• Work required on 3rd shift schedule, Sunday-Thursday nights (schedules may vary).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or ability to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Ability to hand‑lift and use two‑wheeler, lift gate, or other equipment to move or stack product cases/freight ranging from approximately 60 to 90 pounds.
