The Green Mountain Unified School District is seeking a reliable and safety‑minded Part‑Time School Bus Driver to join our transportation team for the 2026‑2027 school year. Our district proudly serves Cavendish Town Elementary School, Chester‑Andover Elementary School, and Green Mountain Union High School.

This school‑year position includes approximately 4–6 hours of driving each day, with routes split between the morning and afternoon. Additional paid opportunities are available throughout the year for field trips, athletic events, and other extracurricular transportation needs.

• Position: Part‑Time School Bus Driver (0.83 FTE)
• Schedule: Approximately 4–6 hours per day (morning and afternoon routes)
• Duration: School Year Position

$22.72–$26.72 per hour, based on the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). A successor CBA is currently under negotiation; wage increases are anticipated to take effect at the start of the upcoming school year once the agreement is finalized.

• CDL Class B with school bus and passenger endorsement, and current DOT Medical Card.

• At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
