Performance Food service is seeking a dispatch coordinator to oversee scheduling and dispatch of delivery operations. You will communicate with truck drivers via computers, phones, or radios, assign drivers to trucks, and ensure departures and arrivals stay on schedule.
You will answer driver questions, help avoid traffic delays, and keep customers, vendors, and coworkers informed with accurate, timely updates while performing duties to support the company's food distribution mission.
