Role Overview

The CDL-A Driver is responsible for safely operating tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver and unload food and related products, ensuring timely and secure deliveries to customers. They act as the company's face to clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.

• Perform safety checks and inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Follow all safety, DOT, and company policies during driving and delivery.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Drive routes to deliver and unload products, verifying deliveries and obtaining signatures.
• Inspect freight, secure loads, and complete accurate paperwork.
• Handle damaged goods, customer returns, and trailer/truck maintenance tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of equipment and trailers.
• Record hours of service and adhere to federal and state regulations.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
• Must be 21+ years old and meet licensing requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 90 pounds and use equipment for freight handling.
• Pass drug, background, road tests, and obtain DOT Health Card.
