Material Handler, Forklift Operator, Warehouse Associate, General Labor
Location: Kirby Corner
Dal‑Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate II to join our team.
As the Warehouse Associate II, you will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling/assembling customers' orders, and conducting inventory checks. This position involves daily use of forklift equipment.
Sign‑on Bonus
The position comes with a $750 sign‑on bonus.
Pay
Expected hourly pay rates will be between $17.02 and $21.26 at the commencement of employment. Base pay will be determined individually and may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short‑ and long‑term incentive packages, and other company‑sponsored benefit programs.
Primary Responsibilities- Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.
- Pulls/assembles customer orders, checks outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, and conducts inventory stock checks.
- Restocks and labels vendor products, maintains displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moves, stores, and replenishes material.
- Conducts daily cycle counts.
- Receives and unloads inbound material, processes inbound shipments and stock material, processes customer returns, and notifies management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
- Operates forklift equipment.
- Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
- May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
- Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules outlined in the Safety Program and reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Certified Forklift Operator.
- 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, detail‑oriented, and safety‑conscious.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee may sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
