Accounts Payable Administrator/Payroll Processor
Role combining Accounts Payable and Payroll processing responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Accounts Payable
- Processing multiple vendor payments (via ACH & Bank Bill Pay) by due dates
- Entering multiple vendor invoices into Net Suite with accurate information and due dates
- Reviewing payment schedules and tracking all pending invoices
- Getting approvals on all invoices prior to payment
- Sending payment schedules to AR/AP manager weekly
- Entering all vendor payments into the bank portal weekly
- Calculating agent commissions – monthly
- Calculating monthly agent commissions based on client payments received
- Having commissions ready for approval by the 22nd of each month
- Working with the AR/AP Manager to become familiar with the different Agents and their commission plans
- Keeping a detailed Excel spreadsheet on each Agent’s commission
- Depositing incoming checks via remote deposit and sending copies of checks to the AR/AP Manager
- Scanning and emailing paper invoices received by mail to the AR/AP manager
- Reviewing employee expenses for compliance with company policy and adequate supporting documentation
- Confirming all expenses are charged to the correct account and department
- Track notes for any changes/updates to payroll per pay run
- Prepare and enter payroll on a bi-weekly schedule
- Obtain approvals to pay bonuses quarterly
- Work with Finance Team to have commissions included monthly
- Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports
- Assist with general accounting duties, including preparation of account reconciliations as requested
- Assist with new employee onboarding
- Provide clerical and operational support to other human resources staff
- Scanning and emailing documents
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information
- Assist with HR projects
- General office administration
Salary: $25 - $28.85 per hour
