  • * Hours and responsibilities are dependent on interest and needs of the organization and individual
  • Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

This part‑time seasonal position is based out of VPIRG’s Burlington office located in the Old North End at 294 N. Winooski Ave. The OHRA must be able to work in‑person from Monday‑Thursday between 10 am‑2 pm. The remaining hours of the week may be done in person, or on a hybrid schedule, after conversation with supervisors. Hours will increase, or decrease based on the workload and campaign involvement.

Minimum hours 20 week; maximum hours 30 week. The start date is semi‑flexible based on candidate availability, ideally with training and some hours beginning in late April. Candidate must start by mid‑May at the latest. The canvass operation and this position are scheduled to end Friday, August 21, but an earlier date could be arranged if needed. This position pays $17.25‑$19 and will be commensurate with your experience.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate in a friendly, mature, and professional manner; flexible, and calm under pressure; attention to detail and aptitude for office systems; proficient in Microsoft Excel. Canvassing/grassroots organizing or human resources/social work experience preferred.
