- Road-Side Mowing Request for Proposal
The Town of Burke is accepting bids from contractors to perform roadside mowing on approximately 51 miles of roadway. The work will consist of two passes on all Class II and III town highways and should be completed between August 1st and September 15, 2026. The contractor is responsible for proper signage. Bids are due Friday, July 31, 2026, by 4:00 PM at the Burke Town Clerk’s Office, 212 School Street, West Burke, VT 05871.
Bids should be in a sealed envelope and labeled 'Roadside Mowing Bid' and include proof of insurance. Bids will be opened at the Select Board meeting, Monday, August 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The Select Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Call the Clerk’s Office with any questions: 802‑467‑3717.
