Working in coordination with agency senior leadership and the Executive Project Manager the incumbent provides project management, schedules and delegates tasks required for successful outcomes for the agency’s initiatives, manages the daily activities of the agency’s development programs. This manager also serves as the point of contact for community partners, executive management and agency consumers in developing new grant and program opportunities.
EssentialFunctions
- Explores for and receives referrals for possible new grant or new program opportunities.
- Leads program teams in establishing reporting formats for newly funded programs and works with CFO to establish proper reporting plans for grants and contracts.
- Informs senior leadership of significant opportunities and challenges that may support or jeopardize the achievement of objectives, and opportunities to address projects at the program level.
- Monitors current agency projects and directs all team members to keep workflow on track
- Promotes and assists with the execution of development of Agency’s strategy.
- Assists in the development of goals and strategies for fundraising campaigns.
- Gathers documentation and fulfills the necessary requirements of various funding bodies to formally seek funding on behalf of the agency.
- Writes, revises, and edits drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials needed for funding and/or Agency annual reports.
- Ensures timely submission of paperwork and reports, both internal and external, and maintains appropriate and required records.
- Performs confidential and complex projects and functions, including writing correspondence, completing agency forms, and documenting events.
- Works in partnership with Senior Leadership and others as appropriate to develop and implement administrative processes within the Agency.
- Manages and provides support to agency committees concerned with new projects or proposals.
Maintains various database and spreadsheets as necessary.
QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field (finance, IT, business, social work) and 7-10 years of executive-level administrative, communications, marketing and/or fundraising experience. Experience and expertise with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Preferred:
Master degree, in business, public administration, accounting, political science, entrepreneurship, economic development or similar degree, five years of executive level experience and/ or grant writing experience.
