General Dentist – Mobile Dental Clinic
Position Type: full time, one year minimum
OverviewThe General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to Veterans in a mobile dental clinic setting. This role requires clinical expertise, operational flexibility, and adherence to Veterans Affairs / Veterans Health Administration (VA/VHA) standards.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver diagnostic, preventive, and restorative dental care.
- Operate and maintain dental equipment within the mobile clinic.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of the clinic at various locations.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Collaborate with VA dental staff for treatments beyond mobile clinic capabilities.
- Document all patient care in VA Electronic Health Record systems.
- Adhere to HIPAA and VA compliance standards.
- DDS/DMD degree from an accredited institution.
- Active dental license in any US state or territory.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of dental standards and infection control practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
