Technology Education Teacher – Long-Term Substitute

White River Valley High School is seeking a qualified and motivated Long-Term Substitute Technology Education Teacher to begin immediately. This position will support high school students in hands‑on and technical coursework, including Woodworking, Automotive Technology, and Computer‑Aided Design (CAD). The assignment is expected to continue through the end of the 2025‑2026 school year.

• Deliver instruction in high school Technology Education courses, including Woodworking, Automotive Technology, and CAD/Drafting.
• Plan and implement engaging, standards‑aligned lessons that support both technical skills and safety practices.
• Maintain a safe, organized and productive work environment.
• Supervise and support students during hands‑on projects and activities.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback in alignment with school expectations.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators and support staff.
• Follow all district policies, safety protocols, and classroom management procedures.

• BA preferred.
• Experience or demonstrated knowledge in woodworking, automotive technology, and/or CAD.
• Commitment to student safety, engagement and skill development.
