Responsibilities- Assigned to work in the Lunenburg KEAP program; required hours are 3:00-5:00pm Mondays through Thursdays during the school year, with additional hours available if desired.
- Develop and interpret individual needs of students by helping to create and implement behavior and/or instructional support programs with consultation from KEAP staff and the special educator.
- Be trained in Handle With Care and be able to participate in all activities that the assigned student participates in.
- Provide observable student data that meet the program goals for students with early childhood, developmental delay, and/or other special needs.
- Target goal-directed services to assist students in accessing instruction in a developmentally appropriate, functional, and independent manner.
- Background check, including fingerprinting, required upon employment.
- Para Pro assessment completed or an associate degree or higher is preferred; alternative qualifications may be considered.
- High School/Trade School degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
