HVACControls Project Managerprofessionaltomanagebuildingautomationprojectswhilealsosupportingsalesandestimatingefforts .Thisdual-rolepositionensuresseamlessprojectdeliverywhileprovidingflexibilitytoassistinbusinessdevelopment,proposal preparation,andclientengagement.

Theidealcandidateisbothtechnicallystrongandbusiness-minded,capableofdrivingprojectsuccessandcontributingtocompanygrowth.

• Manage
  
  HVACcontrolsprojectsfrominitiationthroughcommissioningandcloseout.
• Coordinatewithengineering,field teams,subcontractors,andvendorstomeetdeadlinesandqualitystandards.
• Developandmaintainprojectschedules,budgets,andresourceplans.
• Reviewsubmittals,drawings,andsequencesofoperationforcompliance.
• Serveastheprimarypointofcontactforclientsthroughouttheprojectlifecycle.
• Conductregularstatusmeetingswithsubcontractors,PMIstaff,andprovideprogressreports.
• Overseeprocurementofmaterialsandequipment.
• Monitor installation,programming,andcommissioningactivities,resolvingissuesasneeded.
• Ensurecompliancewithcompanystandards,safety policies,andapplicablecodes.
• Maintainaccurateprojectdocumentation,including
  
  RFIs,change orders,andcloseoutmaterials.

• Review specifications,drawings,andRFQstodevelopscopesofworkandestimates.
• Preparedetailedproposals,including equipment,materials,labor,andsubcontractcosts.
• Assistsalesteamsinpursuingopportunities,preparing presentations,andrespondingtobids.
• Meetwithclients,engineers,andcontractorstoclarifyrequirementsandpresenttechnicalsolutions.
• Trackpipelineopportunitiesandprovidetechnicalinputduringsalesforecasting.
• Identifyopportunitiesforsystemupgrades,retrofits,orenergy-savingenhancementswithneworexistingserviceclients.

• PMPcertification.
• Relevantsalestrainingorestimatingexperience.
• Familiaritywithoneormorecontrolplatforms(Carrieri Vu,Johnson Controls Facility Explorer ,or Tridium-based systems)
• Experiencewithenergyefficiencyprograms.
• OSHAsafetytrainingcertification.
• LEEDaccreditationorknowledgeofsustainablebuildingpractices.
• Bachelor’sdegreein
  
  Mechanical
  
  Engineering,Electrical Engineering,Construction Management,orrelatedfield;equivalentexperienceconsidered.
• 3–6yearsofprojectmanagementexperiencein
  
  HVACcontrols,building automation,orMEPprojects.
• Experiencepreparingcostestimatesandproposalsforplan-and-specordesign-build projects.
• Knowledge of
  
  HVACsystems,buildingautomationplatforms,andcontrolsequences.
• Proficiencywithprojectmanagementtools(MSProject,Ganttcharts,etc.).
• Abilitytoreadandinterpretdrawings,specifications,andbiddocuments.
• Strong communication,negotiation,andorganizationalskills.
• Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesandthriveinaclient-facing role.
