Overview
We are searching for an Electrical Engineer to join an Aerospace electronics manufacturer company that will join their Monitoring and Actuation business engineering team.
Role
:
Electrical Engineer
Hybrid
:
Fully remote for 3 weeks a month, 1 week a month onsite (expensed)
Contract
: 6-months initial contract (likely to extend)
Rate
:
Competitive $ Hourly
The Electrical Engineer will support production troubleshooting activities and perform lifecycle management of the existing aerospace and defense product line, collaborating across disciplines and leveraging hands-on experience to deliver reliable, high-performance products.
Qualifications- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Associate s degree plus significant (7+ years) relevant job experience
- 5+ years of experience in electronic or aerospace manufacturing and troubleshooting
- Circuit card manufacturing and hands-on troubleshooting experience
- Experience with SPICE simulation software
- Comprehension of complex aerospace schematics and circuit function
- Electrical component comparison and associated lifecycle (obsolescence) management
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges and mitigate risks
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals
- Experience in Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA)
