One Day In July is a rapidly growing investment firm based in Burlington, Vermont, focused on reducing fees and improving portfolio performance through index fund strategies. We are expanding our financial advisory team to serve clients across Vermont and the United States.

As a Financial Advisor, you will onboard new clients, maintain existing relationships, and manage client portfolios. Key responsibilities include working directly with clients, collaborating with the Investment Desk to review investment situations and perform rebalancing, creating spreadsheets with proprietary software, and handling the necessary paperwork.

You must hold a Series 65 or equivalent license to perform this role.

• Work directly with new and existing clients.
• Analyze client asset allocations.
• Seek to reduce client taxes incurred.
• Process paperwork and other client requests.
• Give each client situation careful attention and scrutiny.
• Coordinate trading and rebalancing with the Investment Desk.
• Utilize CRM to manage client portfolios and keep detailed records.
• Answer questions and help train new advisors and staff members.
• Assist in closing leads from new prospects who have contacted us about joining the firm.
• Plan, set up, and attend occasional off‑site events, including transportation and supplies.

• Series 65 or equivalent license.
• 2+ years of experience as a financial advisor working with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interest in investing, finance, and economics.
• Positive attitude, determination, and ability to prioritize.
• Experience cultivating and managing long‑term client relationships.
• Skill at developing trust with clients.
