Mountain Top Inn & Resort located at 195 Mountain Top Road, Vermont 05737 seeks nine (9) full-time Temporary Room Attendant positions, with a start date of April 1, 2026 and an end date of January 6, 2027.
Responsibilities- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
- Change bed linens, towels and guest amenities as needed.
- Stock and maintain housekeeping closets and housekeeping vans daily.
- Dispose of trash, recyclables and food waste.
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- 3 months of successful experience at a restaurant, hotel, resort, private club, timeshare, or other hospitality business requiring cleaning or customer service duties.
- Commitment to being assigned to one worksite per day with no travel outside the assigned worksite, and a daily commuting time of less than one hour.
- Daily transportation provided to and from the worksite.
- On‑job training provided.
- Wage: Guaranteed prevailing wage rate of $17.55 per hour, paid bi‑weekly. Overtime available at a minimum of $26.33 per hour.
- Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work hours may vary and can include evening and weekend hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday, with shifts varying. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due.
Federal requirements for workers hired with H‑2B Visa authorization and all corresponding U.S. workers apply. The company will consider all qualified candidates. The company is willing to facilitate optional housing accommodations through a third party for candidates who reside 100 miles or more outside the work location and are willing to temporarily relocate. Housing is limited to the temporary employment period, first come first serve basis, up to $125 per week payable to a third‑party housing provider, with a security deposit up to $500.
All deductions from the paycheck will be made in accordance with and as required by law, including ensuring wages do not fall below prevailing wage. If the worker completes 50% of the contract period, the employer will reimburse transportation and subsistence costs from recruitment to work location for the first workweek and will also cover outbound transportation and subsistence costs during the last workweek.
Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day, up to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
The employer guarantees work for hours equal to at least three‑fourths of the workdays in each 12‑week period of the total employment period. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job are provided at no charge.
H‑2B Visa InformationThe employer will reimburse H‑2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees mandated by government (excluding passport fees).
