This role combines hands-on analytical execution with thoughtful problem solving and data structure organization across a complex data landscape. In addition to resolving data issues from identification through remediation, this individual will help define and improve how data is structured, governed, and leveraged to support scalable, long-term business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with upstream data owners to improve data capture, reduce downstream issues, and increase overall data reliability
  • Evaluate, maintain, and enhance data structures across structured and unstructured data sources
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of consistent data definitions (e.g., client, account, household, AUM) across the organization
  • Develop analyses and insights using tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Databricks to support business, operational, and regulatory needs
  • Build scalable, repeatable data workflows in Alteryx to automate data preparation, transformation, and validation processes
  • Respond to ongoing business reporting and data requests, delivering timely, accurate, and well-structured outputs while identifying opportunities to improve, automate, or standardize recurring needs
  • Respond to internal and external regulatory, audit, and compliance-related data requests with a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and defensibility
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and scale data-related processes and workflows
  • Support and help operationalize the firm’s evolving approach to data governance, ownership, and stewardship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with enterprise data across multiple domains, ideally within financial services or wealth management
  • Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx (data blending, workflow automation, and data quality processes)
  • Experience with Alteryx, Tableau and/or Databricks for data analysis and visualization
  • Working proficiency in SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis
  • Experience supporting regulatory or audit-related data requests in a regulated environment
  • Demonstrated ability to move from problem identification through root cause analysis to sustainable resolution
  • Experience improving or defining data structures, processes, or governance frameworks is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly language
