** SUMMARY
* * The Rental Technician provides excellent customer service while assisting guests interested in renting equipment. This position accepts payment, assists in boot fitting, mounts and adjust ski and snowboard equipment to manufacturer guidelines and assists in inventory control/management as well as the following essential duties and responsibilities.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
* Greets and assists customers with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
* Works with customers to determine equipment needs, date needed, quantity, style, and size.
* Shows customers available or appropriate equipment.
* Reviews rental and others fees to customer.
* Obtains suitable identification and deposit as security from customer.
* Computes rental charge and tax for customer.
* Collects payment from customer for services.
* Examines equipment for damages and designates equipment for cleaning or repair.
* Ensures proper fit for customer of all necessary equipment and adjusts to manufactures guidelines.
* Returns cleaned or repaired equipment to stock.
* Other duties as assigned, which could be directly related, or un-related to original position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. # LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read & comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, & memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one & small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.  

# MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.
