Key Responsibilities
  • Performs and/or verifies equipment related set-up activities per SOPs and instructions.
  • Ensures appropriate product-dedicated equipment, kits, tooling, idlers, etc. are used.
  • Ensures process equipment and change parts are cleaned per procedure and are in good repair prior to set-up and following batch runs.
  • Performs and/or verifies system related checks: sensor checks, start-up/shift checks/testing; ensures results meet specifications and are within control ranges (where appropriate).
  • Monitors run performance via CPPs/KPPs, in-process quality checks/testing, yields, and run efficiencies to identify adverse trends/failures.
  • Responds to equipment faults, alarms, jams to identify cause and remediate.
  • Makes appropriate adjustments when necessary.
  • Leads equipment troubleshooting with Lead Operator and support groups; ensures actions are taken to resolve issues and return equipment to operating conditions.
  • Assists with equipment PMs and calibrations (as needed).
  • Participates in defining user requirements for new systems; executes equipment/system IQ, OQ, PQs.
  • Supports content creation/review of technical instructions and training documents.
  • Provides oversight of training on technical-related tasks on production lines.
  • Provides technical input into events/investigations; assists in identifying root causes and corrective/preventative actions.
  • Works with Engineering Production Support and QA Validation on equipment/control improvements; participates in technical studies as needed.
  • Performs other assigned duties, including acting as back-up to Senior Operator/Lead Operator roles.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant experience and a High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Technical degree/certification and 3 years relevant experience preferred (or combination considered).
Compensation

Salary range: $37,000.00–$80,000.00 USD.
