Technical Operator
Key responsibilities:
- Perform and/or verify all equipment-related set-up activities per SOPs and related instructions.
- Ensure appropriate product-dedicated equipment, kits, tooling, idlers, etc. are used for the process.
- Ensure process equipment and change parts are cleaned per procedure and in good repair prior to set-up and following batch runs.
- Perform and/or verify required system-related checks (sensor checks, start-up/shift checks/testing) before processing; ensure results meet specifications and control ranges (where appropriate).
- Monitor run performance via CPPs/KPPs, in-process quality checks/testing, yields, and run efficiencies to identify adverse trends and/or equipment/control failures.
- Respond to equipment faults, alarms, jams, etc.; identify cause, remediate, and make appropriate adjustments.
- Lead equipment problem-solving/troubleshooting with Lead Operator and support groups to resolve issues and return equipment to operating conditions.
- Assist with equipment PMs and calibrations as needed.
- Participate in defining user requirements for new systems and executing equipment/system IQ, OQ, PQs.
- Support creation/review of technical instructions and training documents; provide oversight of technical training on production lines.
- Provide technical input into routine equipment/system events or investigations, assisting with root-cause identification and corrective/preventive actions.
- Work with Engineering Production Support and QA Validation on recommendations, implementation, and qualification of equipment/control improvements; participate in technical studies as needed.
- Perform other assigned duties in alignment with training (may serve as backup to Senior Operator/Lead Operator roles).
- 7+ years of relevant experience and a High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Technical degree/certification and 3 years relevant experience preferred (combination of education/experience considered).
Compensation:
Salary range: $37,000.00 - $80,000.00 USD.
