Regional Nurse Consultant
At Stellar Health Group, we are seeking a talented and experienced Regional Nurse Consultant to join our team. The role involves auditing facility documentation, revising protocols to ensure compliance with emerging clinical best practices, monitoring clinical advancements within the industry, managing nursing competency validation programs, providing clinical guidance, and participating in the quality assurance process.
Responsibilities- Auditing facility documentation and making recommendations for improvement
- Revising protocols as needed to keep pace with emerging clinical best practices
- Monitoring clinical advancements within the industry
- Managing nursing competency validation programs
- Providing clinical guidance to ensure optimal quality of care in the region
- Participating in the quality assurance process
- Providing clinical training and education
- Implementing protocols to keep up with current innovations
- Ensuring optimal reimbursement rates in assigned facilities
- Developing policies to mitigate risk
- Conducting operational reviews to assess regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and quality improvement opportunities
- Maintaining impeccable regulatory compliance in the region
- Communicating effectively with staff, doctors, and corporate leadership, utilizing diplomacy and discretion
- Ensuring quality clinical outcomes in the assigned region
- Prior regional / multi‑facility experience within Long Term Care / Nursing Homes preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Director of Nursing Services in a Skilled Nursing Facility required
- Current RN license
- Intermediate+ computer/software skills and comprehension
- Valid RN license
- 5+ years’ experience working with nursing practices and procedures
- 3+ years’ experience in Long Term Care facilities
