Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Vermont. The RN in this role will provide high-quality nursing care across multiple facilities within the designated region, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and promoting effective communication and collaboration between healthcare teams. This position requires strong clinical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) across various healthcare settings within the region (e.g., hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, home health, etc.).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing RN clinical expertise.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to other nursing staff, ensuring best practices are followed by all RNs within the region.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary to meet patient needs, leveraging your experience as an RN
. - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, history-taking, and diagnostic testing as an RN
. - Educate patients and their families on health management, treatments, and medications, applying your knowledge as a skilled RN
. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including state and federal healthcare standards, and support RN teams in meeting these standards.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in multiple healthcare settings.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge in patient care, nursing practices, and evidence-based treatments as an RN
. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and patients.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed (mileage or travel expenses reimbursed).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Flexible working hours, including potential weekends and holidays based on patient care needs.
- Travel required within the regional area (mileage reimbursement and transportation assistance provided).
