Description:
This role is for a House Supervisor in the Emergency Department.
Travelers must have supervisory experience.
Candidates must not have other permanent or travel assignments while in this role.
Requested time off must be noted and verified upon submission.
No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
Travelers may not request all holidays off and must work specific holidays as scheduled.
Candidates must have their own vehicle as public transport is not available.
Critical thinking and sharp decision-making skills are essential.
Good communication skills are imperative for dealing with patients and families.
The ability to manage unplanned situations is vital.
Attributes for success include compassion, humor, organizational skills, and teamwork.
Candidates must be able to obtain health histories and complete accurate physical assessments.
Experience in managing angry or combative behaviors is necessary.
The Emergency Department typically sees 8 to 15 patients per day.
Attributes of successful candidates include the ability to prioritize quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.
