Location: Town of Vermont

HP Environmental is seeking a motivated and articulate Appointment Setter to join our team on a Full-Time basis. This role is based in Vermont, Illinois, United States
, and is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with exceptional communication skills. As the first point of contact for many potential clients, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by scheduling qualified appointments for our sales and technical teams. We are looking for a results‑driven person who is confident, organised, and keen to contribute to a leading company in the environmental sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively contact potential clients from provided lists via telephone and email to introduce HP Environmental's services.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and qualify them for our solutions.
  • Clearly and professionally articulate our company's value proposition.
  • Schedule high‑quality appointments and meetings for our senior team members.
  • Maintain an accurate and detailed record of all communication and appointments in our CRM system.
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for scheduled appointments.
  • Follow up on initial contacts and nurture leads through the early stages of the sales pipeline.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in an appointment setting, telemarketing, or inside sales role is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • Self‑motivated with a determined, results‑oriented approach.
  • The ability to handle rejection and remain positive and persistent.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and standard office applications (e.g., MS Office).
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • An interest in the environmental services industry would be an advantage.
