Job Overview
Entry level sales position in the Retail Financial Services Division. Incumbents will obtain the necessary licenses, learn operations standards, and develop sales techniques required for success as a Financial Consultant. The role requires meeting with customers and prospects to determine investments and insurance needs, recommend appropriate products, and make appropriate referrals to business partners. The incumbent also monitors client investment performance and provides recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Interview and profile customers/prospects to determine investment and insurance needs, recommend appropriate products, and make referrals to branch or regional market teams (50%).
- Provide sales assistance to Financial Consultants (25%).
- Develop and execute an individual business plan to meet sales goals and maintain a minimum assigned level of production consistent with team goals (20%).
- Perform other duties as assigned (5%).
Must obtain Series 7, 63 registration, and Life & Health Insurance Licenses within 12 months of assuming job responsibilities.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related financial services field or equivalent education and experience.
- Knowledge of general business practices.
- Effective communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers. Stationary 75% or more of the time. Move objects up to 10 lbs.
