Location: Town of Vermont
Lift Mechanic - Up to a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
Up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus available through September 30, 2026.
The Lift Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of lift equipment throughout the winter and summer seasons. Daily inspections and checks are performed to ensure that the equipment operates efficiently and safely. We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused individual who can support our team and deliver high-quality maintenance services.
Responsibilities- Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repair of lift equipment during both winter and summer periods.
- Ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations and company standards.
- Train and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 lift mechanics in technical procedures and safety practices.
- Certification Level 2 – completion of Levels 1 and 2 of the Lift Maintenance Apprenticeship Program.
- Certification Level 3 – completion of all three levels of the Apprenticeship Program and receipt of the Trade Certified Tramway Technician Certificate (or actively working toward it).
- Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
