Journeyman Electrician, Main Maintenance – 2nd Shift

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Journeyman Electrician, Main Maintenance – 2nd Shift role will make an impact:

• Analyze drawings and wiring diagrams to locate and install circuits and equipment and determine materials and parts needed.
• Plan and perform work requiring knowledge of electrical principles, wiring specifications, codes, and properties of various materials.
• Locate sources of trouble in electrical equipment by tracing and testing circuits and inspecting for faulty operation.
• Install conduit, fittings, switches, controls, and fixtures; wire and connect electrical equipment per the National Electrical Code for new installation or replacement.
• Perform calibration of plant equipment, as required.
• Follow all safety precautions and properly isolate circuits to minimize interference to operations.
• Clean up machinery and the work area after maintenance functions.

• High School diploma or equivalent and minimum 4 years of experience (combination of experience and/or education considered).
• Minimum of a Vermont State Journeyman License (Master Electrician considered based on qualifications).
• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment (e.g., ammeters, voltmeter), conduit-bending equipment, and power/hand tools.
• Knowledge of plant machinery and equipment, replacement parts, control cabinets, wiring, and conduit.

Salary range: $39,000.00 - $88,000.00 USD.
