School Bus Driver (Part‑Time)
Location:
Butler’s Bus Service, Orleans, Vermont.
No commercial driver’s license (CDL) required; we provide paid training.
Pay & Schedule- Pay: $20‑22 per hour
- Schedule:
Part‑time, split shift (AM and PM) - Weekdays only – no nights, weekends, or holidays
- Weekly pay with guaranteed minimum hours
- Paid CDL training – no experience required

- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
- Maintain a clean, safe vehicle

- Follow all state and local traffic laws and school district policies
- CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements, or willingness to obtain
- Valid DOT medical card, or able to obtain one
- Safe driving record
- Age 21 or older with at least 3 years of driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Effective communication in English, both spoken and written
- Retirees or former professionals who want to use leadership skills in a low‑stress environment
- Veterans seeking to transfer commitment to safety into community service
- Active community members from healthcare, hospitality, or other fields who value respect and service
