As a CDL Driver Class A/B Delivery Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of livestock feed products, representing the company’s dedication to customer service and operational excellence.

- Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and box trucks, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Safely load and unload grain, ensuring proper securement and protection of cargo during transit.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines and optimize fuel usage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate trip records, including driver logs, mileage, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
- Assist with the loading and unloading process, including counting and inspecting freight as needed.
- Operate equipment such as liftgates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to facilitate deliveries.
- Keep the truck clean and organized, performing routine maintenance tasks as required.
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at every delivery location.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- At least two years of experience operating commercial vehicles as a CDL driver.
- Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain commercial vehicles and related equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing paperwork and logs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with team members and customers.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy cargo as required.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early morning starts and adapting to changing schedules.
- Commitment to safety and a professional, customer-oriented attitude.
- Previous farm experience is a plus.
