Director of Engineering Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $ 80,000.00 to $  / annually
• Full Time work available
• First Shift

• Lead and mentor engineering staff while fostering a high-performance culture
• Oversee civil engineering project delivery, quality control, and regulatory compliance
• Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client relationships
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and QA/QC programs Guide technology initiatives involving Civil 3D, Open Roads, GIS, and related systems
• Provide technical expertise for proposals, feasibility studies, and business development efforts
• Collaborate with survey, environmental, and construction management teams
• Support strategic planning and operational decisions as a senior leader

Qualifications:

What We're Looking For

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering (Utah or equivalent)
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of civil engineering experience 5+ years of leadership, project management, or supervisory experience
• Strong DOT project experience and knowledge of applicable standards
• Exceptional communication, technical writing, and presentation skills
• Proven leadership and team-building abilities
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel to project sites as needed

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
