Director of Engineering Details:
- Direct Hire position
- $ 80,000.00 to $ / annually
- Full Time work available
- First Shift
- Lead and mentor engineering staff while fostering a high-performance culture
- Oversee civil engineering project delivery, quality control, and regulatory compliance
- Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client relationships
- Develop and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and QA/QC programs Guide technology initiatives involving Civil 3D, Open Roads, GIS, and related systems
- Provide technical expertise for proposals, feasibility studies, and business development efforts
- Collaborate with survey, environmental, and construction management teams
- Support strategic planning and operational decisions as a senior leader

Qualifications:
What We're Looking For
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering (Utah or equivalent)
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of civil engineering experience 5+ years of leadership, project management, or supervisory experience
- Strong DOT project experience and knowledge of applicable standards
- Exceptional communication, technical writing, and presentation skills
- Proven leadership and team-building abilities
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel to project sites as needed
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
