Title: Director of Pharmacy
Location: Vernal, UT
Relocation: Partial relocation assistance available
Salary: Salary to be discussed with a Bryant Staffing Solutions Recruiter.
Bonus: $20,000 sign-on bonus

We are currently seeking a seasoned Director of Pharmacy to lead the pharmacy department of a respected healthcare facility in northeastern Utah. This is a high-impact leadership role, ideal for a clinical pharmacy professional who thrives in an acute care setting and has a strong track record in regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and operational excellence. As the Director of Pharmacy, you'll be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, clinical performance, and day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department.

This position is a great fit for someone passionate about enhancing patient outcomes through optimized medication management and interdepartmental collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all pharmacy services.
  • Develop and implement departmental goals and performance metrics aligned with the organization's mission and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee budget preparation, compliance, and resource allocation.
  • Manage hiring, training, evaluation, and professional development of pharmacy staff.
  • Maintain quality assurance, audit readiness, and adherence to legal and ethical standards, including HIPAA.
  • Ensure implementation of evidence-based practices in pharmacy operations.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to improve service delivery and patient care outcomes.
Requirements
  • Active UT pharmacist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution required.
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacy compliance, operations, and clinical best practices.
