Required:

1 – 3 Years

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in patients. This role involves working closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered therapy services. The SLP will develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure compliance with clinical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Evaluation & Treatment

  • Assess patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills

Clinical Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Collaboration & Patient Support

  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and therapy teams
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress
  • Provide guidance on home care and therapy exercises

Therapy & Rehabilitation Support

  • Use evidence-based practices and therapy techniques
  • Support patients in achieving functional communication goals
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
Must-Have Qualifications

Utah Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in hospital or clinical settings Familiarity with speech and swallowing therapy techniques Experience working with diverse patient populations
