Laboratory Technician Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 18.00 to $ 25.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)
- Perform laboratory testing on concrete, soils, asphalt, and aggregate materials.
- Prepare, cure, and test concrete cylinders in accordance with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate testing records, reports, and quality documentation.
- Calibrate, inspect, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Follow ASTM, DOT, ACI, and internal QA/QC procedures while assisting field technicians as needed.
Laboratory Technician
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience and an acceptable driving record.
- Basic math, measurement, and documentation skills required.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and ability to follow testing procedures.
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician certification preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in both laboratory and field environments.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
