Laboratory Technician

Laboratory Technician

Pay Range: $20hr - $25hr

Support routine laboratory testing and sample preparation activities in accordance with approved procedures.

Accurately document laboratory work, sample information, and results in logs, reports, and digital systems.

Assist with sample handling, storage, and disposal in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Maintain laboratory equipment, work spaces, and inventory in a clean and operational condition.

Support QA/QC activities and audits as directed by laboratory leadership.

Perform risk analysis prior to tasks to identify and mitigate safety or quality concerns.

Participate in health, safety, and quality initiatives and maintain required safety training.

Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Less than two years of relevant laboratory or technical experience.

Conduct laboratory testing and sample preparation.

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Support laboratory operations and maintenance.

Interest in laboratory work and willingness to learn technical skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Coursework or hands-on experience in a scientific setting preferred.
