Vernon Court Registry is hiring a Court Clerk to enhance court efficiency. This full-time role involves accurate digital recordings, processing sensitive data, and responding to public inquiries.
We are looking for a Court Clerk who will collaborate with diverse teams to support access to justice. Successful candidates will have a background in legal office operations, ensuring the effective management of court proceedings. A focus on customer service and familiarity with digital applications will be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record court proceedings digitally with precision
• Manage confidential court data using specialized software
• Address public inquiries with empathy and professionalism
• Collaborate with judicial personnel and support staff
• Contribute to the effectiveness of court operations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum two years of legal field experience
• Proficient in keyboarding at 40 WPM
• Desirable experience with JUSTIN or CEIS
• Strong customer service experience preferred
