Position: Recreation Clerk for Greater
Become a vital part of Greater Vernon Recreation Services as a Recreation Clerk, handling bookings and contracts for facilities. This temporary role involves strong administrative skills, recreation software, and customer service.

As a Recreation Clerk, you will report to the Manager of Culture & Community Services. The position demands proficiency in Parks and Recreation Management Software (PRMS), ensuring accurate bookings for parks and arenas. You'll also manage clerical tasks and provide excellent customer support, contributing to the service quality of the community's recreational offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage bookings and contracts for parks and facilities

• Ensure all permits and insurance are validated

• Process payments and issue receipts accurately

• Prepare weekly reports for custodial staff

• Assist in training other Recreation Clerks

Requirements:

• Office Administration Certificate or equivalent

• 2 years’ experience in a recreation setting

• Proficient in PRMS and Microsoft Office

• Valid BC Drivers’ License required

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
