Woodlands Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Woodlands Supervisor for our Southern Interior Woodlands Division. The Southern Interior Woodlands Team manages Tolko’s tenure and fibre supply across 953,447 hectares in British Columbia. We are dedicated to sustaining these areas for the benefit of all who live and work there.

• 5+ years related industry experience
• Experience in one or more of:
  • Harvesting or Roads in the BC Interior
  • Timber Development and Permitting in BC
  • First Nations Collaboration and Partnership
• Commitment to safety
• Time management and communication skills
• Ability to perform fieldwork
• University Degree or Technical Diploma in Forestry
• Active registrant with the Forest Professionals British Columbia

• Supervise and oversee field personnel while maintaining safety standards.
• Interacting with various teams and building strong relationships with colleagues.
• Supporting Tolko’s objectives for safety, environment, production, cost, and quality .
• Performing work both in office and in the field .
• Opportunities to take on roles within Harvesting or Roads .
• Traveling periodically across the southern interior of BC as duties span Kamloops and Vernon.
