Support early learning efforts as a Casual Child Care Educator in Vernon with School District No. 22. Utilize your skills in child development and safety to foster nurturing environments for children.
As a Casual Child Care Educator, you will work in before-school care settings, enhancing child care practices based on your training and experience. This role requires collaboration with families and staff, along with a commitment to ensuring safety and development for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide and support children in learning activities
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members
• Adhere to child care legislation and safety regulations
• Apply BC Early Learning Framework in programs
• Be available for Non-Instructional Day responsibilities
Requirements:
• At least 19 years old
• Completed 20 hours in child development courses
• At least three months working with children
• Valid Child Safe First Aid certificate
• Clear criminal record and health compliance
