School District No. 22 seeks a passionate Early Childhood Educator to assist in its preschool programs. Candidates need a minimum of one year of experience in child care, a valid ECE License, and a first aid certification.
Your role will involve effectively interacting with young children, applying your knowledge of the BC Early Learning Framework to design age-appropriate activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in facilitating preschool programs and activities
• Foster positive communication with children and families
• Apply organizational skills to program planning
• Ensure compliance with child care policies
• Build relationships based on trust and respect
Requirements:
• Grade 12 and ECE training program completion
• At least one year of work experience with children
• Valid Child Safe first aid certificate
• Clear background check
• Understanding of Truth and Reconciliation issues
