About the job  Brighter Staffing Agency is currently seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at a reputable hotel in Vernon, BC. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms, creating a positive and memorable experience for them.
Responsibilities   Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Ensure all amenities are in working order and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
Follow hotel policies and procedures for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms
Stock and organize housekeeping carts with necessary supplies
Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Maintain a friendly and courteous attitude towards guests and coworkers
Follow safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
Report any lost and found items to the appropriate department
Assist with laundry duties as needed
Attend to special guest requests and accommodate their needs to the best of your ability
Qualifications   Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time
Knowledge of safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
