Step into a pivotal role with the District of Lake Country as the Manager of Utilities. This full-time position offers strategic leadership oversight of water, wastewater, and solid waste services.

As the Manager of Utilities, you'll report to the Director of Infrastructure and Development Engineering. Your responsibilities will include managing operations, regulatory compliance, and emergency response readiness for services in Lake Country, BC. Effective leadership of staff, infrastructure management, and long-term planning are crucial for delivering sustainable community services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Utilities team in recruitment and training

• Oversee water, reservoir, and waste operations

• Manage emergency response and preparedness activities

• Develop and improve utility policies and procedures

• Prepare operating budgets and reports for Council

Requirements:

• Diploma in Water or Environmental Engineering

• Minimum seven years of utility systems experience

• Four years in a supervisory role required

• EOCP Level III Water Treatment Certification

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
