Salvation Army Youth Engagement Worker

Empower youth through discipleship and community outreach as a Youth Engagement Worker with the Salvation Army. Foster spiritual growth and coordinate programs to support young people locally.

As a Children and Youth Worker, you will coordinate activities that facilitate spiritual development and outreach efforts. This role requires a passionate individual to mentor youth, manage various programs, and work with community partners. Additionally, you will develop strategies for leadership training within youth and manage fundraising initiatives throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor youth and model positive Christian behavior

• Implement and evaluate youth ministry programs

• Lead prayer sessions and support faith journeys

• Maintain activity records and program statistics

• Organize community fundraising events

Requirements:

• High school completion plus specialized training

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in youth work

• Knowledge in Biblical studies and youth leadership

• Criminal Police Investigation Check necessary

• Capable of lifting over 20 pounds
