Position: Events Coordinator Role at Canadian Mental Health Association
Become the Events Coordinator at the Canadian Mental Health Association, responsible for impactful fundraising and community events. Collaborate to enhance outreach and achieve fundraising goals.

In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Development and Communications. You will be tasked with planning and executing events that reflect CMHA Vernon & District’s values and mission. Your work will involve coordinating logistics, developing timelines, and maintaining effective communication with diverse community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage events from conception to execution

• Coordinate logistics including venue, catering, and accessibility

• Handle on-site event delivery and problem-solving

• Boost fundraising efforts through effective event promotions

• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and volunteers

Requirements:

• Education or experience in event coordination or fundraising

• Demonstrated experience in community-based events

• Strong organizational and communication competencies

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Canva, and social media

• Commitment to equity and inclusive practices in events
