Vernon Stucco & Plaster Ltd. seeks a skilled Full-Time Stucco Plasterer to join their team. If you have a passion for plastering and experience applying and finishing coats, this role may be for you.
This permanent position requires at least one year of experience and a secondary school certificate. As a Stucco Plasterer, you will instruct apprentices, mix plaster, and apply various coatings.
Your role will involve ensuring high-quality finishes while interpreting blueprints and estimating materials needed for projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and guide apprentices throughout the work process
• Apply, level, and smooth plaster coats efficiently
• Mold ornamental plaster panels and trim as needed
• Estimate costs and materials for projects accurately
• Trowel stucco to create durable, weatherproof surfaces
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of plastering experience
• Secondary school certification required
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications
• Skilled in physical tasks such as bending and kneeling
• Commitment to quality and precision in work
