Job Overview
Southward Medical Supplies, a family‑run retail medical supply store, is hiring a Technician. The role involves repairing, maintaining, and installing medical equipment such as safety grab bars, floor‑to‑ceiling transfer poles, and other essential daily living aids in residential homes and community facilities.
Responsibilities- Repair and maintain medical equipment.
- Install equipment, including grab bars into drywall and showers.
- Respond to changing priorities and provide customer service.
- Manage time effectively while serving customers.
- Basic construction skills (e.g., installing grab bars).
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment repair.
- Strong customer service and time‑management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- On‑site training with optional off‑site training.
- Supportive work‑life balance in a small local business.
Store hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (closed on long weekends and statutory holidays).
