Under the Maintenance Manager, your work will strengthen the District's infrastructure. The position involves repairs to furniture and finishes, structural performance, and inter-departmental communication with teachers and supervisors. You will also manage tasks of trades helpers under your supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct repairs to furniture and building components
• Plan and execute structural renovations
• Lead the relocation and refinement of portable classrooms
• Install and maintain locking hardware systems
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12
• Interprovincial Trade Certification in carpentry
• Valid B.C. Class 5 Driver’s License
• Skill in interpreting construction documents
• Familiarity with building codes and trade tools
Utilize your carpentry expertise to enhance learning environments within School District No. 22.
